As long as I’m trying to round up lost sheep (you’ll recall my triumph at finding Bud the other day), whatever happened to penultimo mcfarland, a.k.a. Weldon VII?
He was SUCH a regular on the old blog, and a dependable interlocutor on matters having to do with popular culture (which many of you ignore). But I don’t think he’s been heard from since the Big Changeover.
The e-mail address I had for him doesn’t work anymore.
Anyone have any idea how to reach him?

I always wondered if PM was an alter ego of Will Folks. But maybe I am confusing PM with Capital A.
Now, Capital A was a true A&& from SC’s capital — if I am recalling correctly.
I miss PM too. I don’t think he’s been here since you moved from The State.

Don’t think there should be any concern about the blog becoming too liberal. Fact is, it is more liberal than conservative if a definition is necessary or needed. And, I am sooooo sorry 🙁 you and your fellow liberals are persecuted. I guess living in the state of Dogpatch, having lil’ Abner Yokum as governor, is rather taxing. (I think Pogo would be a better choice but he is in Louisiana)
I miss bud’s comments. Enjoy his passion and commitment. Don’t agree with most of them but respect his point of view and convictions.
Wasn’t McFarland/Weldon also PM and a few others I can’t recall? Wasn’t he the one who got elected to a school board somewhere in the Pee Dee and weren’t some of his posts racially inflammatory? Is that the same one?
You reckon Bud can’t get past the threats to his computer is the same reason I have never seen any ads?
